Announcing Deprecation of StakeWise V2 and StakeWise Solo
Over the past 4 years, StakeWise has continuously developed new products, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in staking.
As we continue evolving our services and focus on new tools for stakers to earn a yield, some of our earlier products will no longer receive support.
Specifically, StakeWise V2 (on both Ethereum and Gnosis Chain) and StakeWise Solo (on Ethereum) will be deprecated starting 1 June 2025.
You will still be able to withdraw your assets beyond 1 June, but your stake will stop accruing rewards from the moment of deprecation. This means that sETH2 (sGNO) tokens in your wallet will no longer accrue rETH2 (rGNO) tokens as rewards, and your solo validators will be exited.

StakeWise V2
If you still hold sETH2 (sGNO) tokens, the deprecation means that you will stop accruing rETH2 (rGNO) tokens every day. Effectively, starting 1 June 2025 you will no longer be earning staking rewards by staking in StakeWise V2.

What you can do to continue earning rewards
You can continue earning rewards by migrating your stake to StakeWise V3.
Simply connect the wallet that holds sETH2 (sGNO) and rETH2 (rGNO) tokens to https://app.stakewise.io and click on the Migrate button at the top of the page (users on Gnosis Chain also need to switch the network to Gnosis).
Enter the amount of tokens to migrate, then confirm the transaction. Once your transaction is successful, your sETH2 (sGNO) and rETH2 (rGNO) tokens will be burned, and you will receive osETH (osGNO) tokens in your wallet instead.

What you can do to withdraw assets from StakeWise
To withdraw assets, you must unstake from StakeWise V3.
The first step is to migrate your assets to StakeWise V3 (step above). Once done, press the Unstake tab in the interface, enter the amount of osETH (osGNO) to unstake, and confirm the transaction. Once your transaction is successful, you will have withdrawn your ETH (GNO) from StakeWise.
StakeWise Solo
If you are a user of StakeWise Solo, the deprecation means that your validators will be exited after 1 June 2025, therefore you will stop accruing staking rewards.

What you can do to withdraw assets from StakeWise
If you have previously rotated your solo validator(s)’ withdrawal credentials, you will not need to do anything to withdraw ETH from StakeWise. Upon validator exits, ETH will be automatically deposited into the wallet where you have been receiving staking rewards.
If you haven’t previously rotated your solo validator(s)’ withdrawal credentials, you will need to follow the procedure described here first. Once completed, your ETH will be automatically deposited into the wallet address you specified during the credentials rotation procedure.
What can you do to continue earning rewards
Upon withdrawing your ETH assets, you can deposit ETH into StakeWise V3 to continue using our service and earning rewards.
To stake with a liquid staking token (osETH), deposit via app.stakewise.io. To stake without osETH, with a possibility of using it in the future, deposit into one of the Vaults in the StakeWise Marketplace via app.stakewise.io/vaults.
