StakeWise V3 has officially launched on Gnosis Chain! 🎉
In late July, we presented to you the state-of-the-art liquid staking tech that gives stakers — whether you are regular user, solo staker, DAO, or organization — the flexibility to control how your GNO is staked while keeping it liquid.
With our liquid staking token, osGNO, any GNO validator can instantly access liquidity and use their staked GNO in DeFi applications 🌊. Users can now explore the StakeWise Vault Marketplace, where they can choose from a wide range of node operators to stake their GNO, helping to further decentralize the Gnosis Chain.
The Vault’s Marketplace allows users to stake any amount of GNO in their chosen Vault, earn rewards, and unstake whenever they like. At the same time, they can mint osGNO to access DeFi opportunities throughout the Gnosis ecosystem 🦉.
As part of the V3 rollout, incentives for the osGNO-GNO pool will be launching soon, adding APY-enhancing opportunities for those who choose to participate.

🤑 Putting money where our mouth is
StakeWise is proud to be a founding member of the Obol Collective — a decentralized staking infrastructure collective that focuses on creating a more robust staking ecosystem via distributed validator (DV) technology. Obol DVs help Ethereum reduce its reliance on the same data centers and operators and maximize its liveness, while also reducing the risk of slashing.
As part of the push to promote DVs, Obol Collective has just launched the Contributions Program that awards Obol Points to stakers utilizing Obol DVs. And, StakeWise is getting involved in a big way because decentralizing Ethereum’s consensus layer matters to us 🫡.
Head over to StakeWise Chorus One Obol Vault and start staking in a Vault that contributes 1% of validator rewards to the “1% For Decentralization” retroactive funding mechanism set up by the Obol Collective, and rewards you with Obol Points!
As you collect Obol Points, you will accumulate influence in the Obol Collective because they will serve as the basis for future governance and ownership of the protocol 💰.
So important public goods get funded, you get rewarded for contributing to a great mission, and the slashing risk is reduced. Not a bad deal!
🤝 Winning hearts and minds
We’re excited to follow up on the announcements of our MetaMask partnership and winning business from the Nexus Mutual Treasury with even more bullish news!
Chorus One, one of the leading Ethereum node operators running one of the fastest-growing Vaults in the StakeWise Marketplace, is expecting to move many of its vanilla staking clients to Vaults. The amount in question is about 15K ETH, or roughly 18% of StakeWise V3’s current TVL. Now that’s a boost 🚀!
The migration of clients’ validators will happen gradually, and is happening thanks to the Incentivized Migration Program introduced and enacted by the StakeWise DAO a few months back.
With our V3 staking stack and Incentivized Migration Program, we’re sure to keep attracting more capital to our protocol. The momentum is unstoppable!
😎 But wait, it gets better
StakeWise Vaults may already be the best tool available to stakers today, but it doesn’t mean they cannot get even better 🥂.
We are proud to report that Vaults version 2 will soon be launching on StakeWise, following a successful DAO vote!
Vaults 2.0 feature revamped validator management tools, improved exit queue mechanics, and custom LTV management on a per-Vault basis, all intended to make the staking experience smoother and more efficient.
From enabling more operators to utilize Vaults, to unlocking new products built on top of osETH, this upgrade is just what StakeWise needs to continue growing!
The upgrade to version 2 is available to all Vaults in the Marketplace, and is entirely optional. If you as a staker would like to see your Vaults upgraded to the latest version, make sure to let your Vault operator know!
